Writing:    Poem: Tribute to Sudan

THE DAWN.

Bones shatter
Blood spill
Gunshots blow the air
As mines tear apart bodies.
Then calm.
At night.

Then it continues.
Twap. another soul gone.
Tap, yet another
Eerie silence.
Engulf the evilish night
As yet another day approaches
It has been like this
For as long as I can remember
Yet today
I have been trapped
By a unique feeling
I’ve never felt like this before

Am I dreaming hallucinating
That at the very long last
There appears a ray of hope
That all this madness
Has come to a stop
No, I am not dreaming
